Founded in May 1979 by Vijaya Raghavan, Comprehensive Design Group records almost 40 years of architectural practice, principally based in Singapore and with regional expansion into Vietnam and Malaysia including project offices in Hanoi and Malacca which operated until 1997 when we consolidated our operations back to our Singapore offices. We have demonstrated over the years our ability to work on a number of projects concurrently, in a number of cities. With projects spanning 40 years in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and India, which included a variety of landed residential dwelling houses, hospitality and mixed-use buildings, a Hindu temple, competition-winning institutional and commercial buildings, and master-planning for towns in east and west Malaysia, Vietnam and India. In addition, we recently acquired vast experience in medium to large-scale commercial developments in Singapore, Australia, and the Middle-East. Eugene Seow and RJ Zheng joined the practice in 2018 as Managing Partner and Associate respectively, having previously worked in renowned international practices of Aedas and Bates Smart, bringing with them additional experience in the transport, hospitality, industrial and educational sectors, and with the practice renaming itself as CDGA - Comprehensive Design Group Architects as it gears itself towards a new chapter of growth.
