Our mission is to provide a multicultural educational environment for our students in which they achieve academic success, personal growth and become socially responsible and active global citizens with an appreciation of learning as a life-long process. ISS International School was the first privately funded international school in both Singapore (1981), and Beijing (1994) and one of the first to adopt the International Baccalaureate (IB). Our founders, Mr. Chan Chee Seng and Mrs. Chan Ching Oi are both firm believers in, and the driving force behind the school’s multi-cultural educational ethos and we’re proud to note that we have 750 students from 58 different nationalities studying in our Singaporean elementary, middle and high school. We currently have two campuses, with the elementary and middle school students studying on Paterson Road and the high school students at the Preston Campus. Our strong educational legacy is built around our two core principles: Small classes, which allow more dedicated student care; and our students taught by the best, most enthusiastic and experienced faculty and staff. We are the only IB World School in Singapore specialising solely in the IB, incorporating IB Primary Years, IB Middle Years and the IB Diploma Programme. Supporting this commitment, we have one of Asia’s highest percentages of IBO workshop leaders, moderators and examiners among our staff.
