Learning Point has a humble beginning trailing back to year 1995, where we began in a cosy shop unit situated at Thomson Ridge. The Learning Point then only had a class of five students – a trivial number compared to the thousands we have today. Though small, our founders started with an ambition of wanting to teach little ones how to read and appreciate the English language. As Learning Point grew with more parents believing in us and our programmes, the centre eventually moved from Thomson Ridge to a bigger space in Thomson Plaza so as to provide both our students and parents with a better experience. Learning Point gradually expanded in more ways than one. Following Thomson Plaza, our next branch at Eastpoint Mall opened in December 2006. Today, we are proud to have a total of seven centres across the island at Thomson Plaza, Eastpoint Mall, Bukit Timah Plaza, Parkway Centre, Oasis Terraces, Century Square and Macpherson Mall. As a centre which genuinely cares for our students and parents, we also regularly review our curriculum to ensure that only relevant skills and knowledge are taught to our students. Therefore, reviews and developments such as the expansion of the Science and Math programmes, are held and implemented on a regular basis as we keep up with the local education and enrichment scene. Anchored on a strong team of committed and passionate staff, Learning Point has since blossomed and grown into the established and reliable centre that it now is. Amidst today’s competitive education landscape, we continue to stay true to our promise of making learning fun and engaging, keeping teaching innovative, and delivering desired results.
