Founded in 2016, Octava Foundation supports children and youth from economically disadvantaged families to realise and achieve their aspirations, who are empowered to have sustainable livelihoods as adults. We do this by building their socio-emotional assets, nurturing talents and interests, and helping them to attain educational and vocational qualifications. The Foundation is a Company Limited by Guarantee registered under the Charities Act as well as a registered Grantmaking Philanthropic Organisation (“Grantmaker”) with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS). Our Vision: To empower children and youth so they may be given equal opportunities to excel as citizens and contribute to a better world. Our Goal: To build impactful and sustainable programmes that strengthen the pillars of home, school and society; with the aim of nurturing the holistic development of underprivileged children and youth to help them reach their full potential. Our Target Groups: - Children and youth aged between 0-35 from economically disadvantaged families - Children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
