With the rise of Social Media, we are moving into Social CCTV to enhance security and reduce man power by boardcasting all the LIVE CCTV footage online. Ths concept is already very popular in country like UK, where there are around 1 camera to survey 27 people. However not all footage are boardcasted online, more of internal security usage. Currently we are using direct streaming to boardcast video and restream if user side bandwidth is unable to support, we are researching on P2P streaming to build an effective boardcasting system.
